Remembering the Blessings of 2020
Dear M.M.M family, another year has passed; and we pray that amid a year that has brought many changes to this world, we can all say that through it all, God has been with us.
“We are rapidly approaching the end of this earth’s history; and as we realize that Jesus is indeed coming soon, we shall be aroused to labor as never before…The Lord desires to see the work of proclaiming the third angel’s message carried forward with increasing sufficiency. As He has worked in all ages to give victories to His people, so in this age He longs to carry to a triumphant fulfillment., His purposes for His church. We are to stand as a rock to the principles of the Word of God, remembering that God is with us to give us strength to meet each new experience. Let us ever maintain in our lives the principles of righteousness…The work that lies before us is one that will put to the stretch every power of the human being…Jesus will be with you;…and He will be your helper in every emergency..”

We are almost home friends, let us not get weary in well doing. As Jesus has warned us, let us watch and pray, lest we become careless or indifferent. We have seen so much advancement in technology, but there is a great danger that social media is becoming a trap for God’s people. It consumes the precious hours of probation; time in which we need to be searching our hearts, praying more as we see the day of the Lord approaching, and making our calling and election sure. Even here in these mountains of Honduras the cell phone has become an instrument that is destroying the lives of many young people, as well as adults. I pray that we do not fall into that trap. Let us keep our eyes on Jesus the author and finisher of our faith.
The year 2020 went by so quickly; possibly it was because we experienced one crisis after another. I feel, although we were under the restrictions of the pandemic, we had one of the busiest years here at the outpost. As always God gives us many precious opportunities to serve. I often wish that you all could be here, to experience the blessings, but I know that you pray for us, and that means the world to us.
In this newsletter I am going to share with you a summary of activities through pictures. I pray that you will be blest and inspired, and that you can feel like you are right here with us. The faces that you see, are the precious souls that the Lord brings to us, or places in our path. My prayer is that these precious souls will be prepared for the second coming of Jesus, and enter His kingdom. How wonderful it will be when one day soon we can all rejoice and be glad to be in the presence of Jesus, and by God’s grace see these souls in heaven and give praises to God for allowing us all to have a part in being His helping hand.
