Remembering My Girls

“There are children who have been wholly deprived of the guidance of parents, and the subduing influence of a Christian home. Let Christians open their hearts and their homes to these helpless ones… He who made us ordained that we should be associated in families, and the child’s nature will develop best in a loving atmosphere of a Christian home. Many who have no children of their own could do a good work in caring for the children of others.”

Ministry of Healing p. 204

I want to share what may seem to many as sad news.

I know many of you grew to love, care and pray for my girls, Waleska and Gabby. Well, an unfortunate situation camegirls-1 about and they had to make the decision to go and live with their mother. I loved them as my daughters.

We taught them and trained them for the Lord and seeing them leave was very painful. I miss them greatly, but I pray that they will never forget what they have learned; what they experienced of God’s love and service to humanity.

Do keep them in your prayers, that the Lord will use them to be a blessing to their mother and other family members the same way they were a blessing here at the outpost and in our lives.

I cling to the promise that I know all of you dear parents hold onto for your children.

What is your favorite promise for your children, if you have any? Please do share them in a comment below. We would love to hear from you as well. God bless!

Proverbs 22:6 “Train up a child in the way that he should go, and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
