Greetings
Dearest M.M.M. family and friends, greeting you in the love of Jesus. It has been a while since I’ve been able to take time to sit down to write to you, but you are always in my heart and prayers, and I know that you are praying for me and the work of the Lord here in Honduras.
I want you to know that in spite all the difficulties and trials that we face day by day in this world, the work of God progresses and moves forward in this part of the vineyard. God gave us a commission and by His grace we will complete it until the day that He comes.
There is so much happening in this world. We know that we are fast approaching a time of trouble such as we have never seen.
Fearful tests and trials await the people of God. The spirit of war is stirring the nations from one end of the earth to another. But in the midst of the time of trouble that is coming, – a time of trouble such as has
CPI.70
not been since there was a nation – God’s chosen people will stand unmoved. Satan and His host cannot destroy them, for angels that excel in strength will protect them.
We must use the short time that we have to prepare our lives through much prayer, the study of God’s Word and working to reach souls as we have never done before. Here in Honduras, the M.M.M. staff, volunteers, and church members get together at the beginning of each new year for prayer in order to seek God’s wisdom and guidance in planning the evangelistic and outreach activities for the year. We know that we must advance the work of God.
I’m excited to share some of the activities that have been accomplished thus far. God is so good to us and He hears and answers our prayers, and pours out His blessings with every effort. The work of the ministry is so great, that we have little free time to tell you all of the wonderful things God is doing. As I write this newsletter, we are conducting an evangelistic meeting in the distant village of San Manuel. We have been working there for the last couple of years, and as a result there is a small company meeting every Sabbath with nine precious souls who had all decided that they had heard the truth and wanted to be baptized.
Don’t get worried friends, I’m going to share more details of what God is doing with this group. By God’s
grace, our goal is to build a house of prayer in that village… a memorial to God’s truth.
